A recent find near Austin, Texas. A Paracymatoceras in hand and in situ. Georgetown formation.

A very nice Paracymatoceras texanum nautiloid for being found in the Georgetown formation. ;)

Just got back Saturday. Had a great trip, and met some nice FF members.

That ain't no bull it is not very common to find one in that kind of condition.

BTW: How do you like Texas?

I love Texas. One of my favorite states to collect in. Nice fossils and nice people. I will post more pix when I get them cleaned up and ID'd
