Pterosaur
Hi there, I hadn't used pencils for a while, and some of the art I've seen on this forum inspired me to pick them up again. I'm sort of rusty, but they are one of my favorite medium. Anyways, I took the original picture at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. I know it's an amphibian. (Temnospondyli?) Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the label... I really liked the texture and dynamic form, and took a shot at recreating it. The white space around the animal still needs to be cleaned up. Please feel free to tell me what you think and if you have any ideas for the background or improvements! Thanks very much!
