A New Technique from a New Area

Recommended Posts

I must admit I was fooled by the snake and amphibian.

Was this > < close to bidding on 'em.

Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!

  • 2 months later...

The story goes on: Same origin, same technique and workshop, but different ebay name.

Now it is a "Rare Chimaera fish fossil!" from the carboniferous of Puebla Mexico:

and a "Rare Complete Fossil Mammal", species and location unknown:

both from a "geologyst old collection"

Beware!

A little tinted gesso, some paint, and a palette knife.... :shake head:

Update: This new seller is the guy who bought all the stuff (12 items) from the first seller.

Just a few examples what he bought:

A Tyrannosaurid Skull,
a Triceratops Skull,
a Dolphin Skeleton,
a Pterodactylus from Solnhofen,
a bird with feathers,
a bat
and a Diplocaulus

What a collection!

I guess now he is trying to resell everything.

Love the fossil mammal looks like a miniature tyrannosaur. With a low starting bid and no reserve this junk may actually sell.

And now we have a rare baby Pterodactylus kochi from Solnhofen.

Does it ever stop?
