Some have a great limestone matrix but some have a very friable (crumbly) sandstone matrix. Anyone have experience in preserving as fossil like this? Blastoid Posted December 23, 2015 Share Posted December 23, 2015 There are many different types of adhesives that might do the trick. I like a very dilute, thin mix of white glue and water, but only use it on the sides and back. A couple of coats or more work nicely, in my experience.
