Guest solius symbiosus
I grabbed a couple of boxes out of storage this evening. These "orthocerids" are the first thing came across. The siphuncle can just be seen at the posterior end. One of the best example of a siphuncle that I have. The other side shows the septum well. These were collected from the Millesburg Mb. of the Lexington Lm. The Millersburg is a very well indurated micsparite intrspersed with beds of clay. Most mollusks in this member are intenal molds.
