Fossil News: The Journal of Avocational Paleontology returns to print this Spring 2016.

So far, the first issue of the “new” Fossil News includes:

-- a photo-essay on photographing fossil radiolarians and other microfossils from a master photomicrographer;

-- a report on new NFS and BLM regulations regarding private collecting on public lands;

-- an account of the discovery of the world’s first fossil ambergris in Italy;

-- a review/discussion of the Emmy-award-winning TV mini-series, Your Inner Fish;

-- an exclusive excerpt from the hard-to-find book, Trilobites: The Back to the Museum Guide;

-- a field trip report on bat (and other rare fossils) from the Green River Formation of Wyoming;

-- reviews of new books from Siri Scientific Press, University of Chicago Press, and others.
