Petrified Wood or Plant? Please Help ID

Im thinking Petrified Wood. Its about 1 1/2 ft wide app. 20lbs. Here are pics from different side views & some close ups of fossils and what not.

For the sake of information and ID try to put something in context to illustrate the size when you take a picture too...a coin, hammer, even your hand....

No, im sorry I do not know the age. I received it from my neighbor who did not know what it was as well.

Bruce, I will do that next time. This piece is about a oot to foot & a 1/2 wide. Thank you all..

In pic 2 with the beautiful botryoidal calcite in the cavity I think I see a little gastropod in the middle of the matrix.
I'm wondering if the specimen couldn't be from a karst environment.

I went ahead and took a look. I didnt know what that was. But seen it and thats why I took the pic. I went over this reef with a magnifying glass....lol
