I got this cephalopod from an auction at my local club. There was no information with it. I am pretty sure it didn't come from Kentucky but I do believe it is Ordovician in age by the look and preservation. I have tentatively identified it as Diestoceras from the Middle to Upper Ordovician from North America (Indiana). Or Dowlingoceras from the Upper Ordovician of North America. The living chamber is at the bottom and is mostly absent, the brevicone tapers rapidly but the end is missing. H
