GDawg Posted January 14, 2016 Share Posted January 14, 2016 Yesterday I was tearing apart an old flip phone for the vibrating motor...and well, it didn't have one...my bad! So, I decided to take the lens out of the camera and see how it works as a macro lens for my iphone. I was surprised at the level of magnification. It also fit perfectly in the opening for my camera on my case requiring no glue. the aperture is so small that good lighting is a must and it cuts down the the viewing area, so zooming digitally is a must. The DOF is small like on a microscope. I have provided 2 pics...one without zoom one with. The object is the date on a US penny.
