Latest Gingin, Western Australia Cretaceous hunt.

My finds from my fossil hunt in the Cretaceous Molecap Greensand (83-86myo) of Gingin on Sunday. A great serrated shark tooth and a fragment of a Notorynchus shark tooth. Sadly I broke one of the three points off! Also a few other bits. Had a great time even tho it was hot and a big Western Brown Snake (highly venomous) settled about 6foot from me and watched the whole time. We chatted while I hunted.

Thanx mate! It was super awesome as ever. The Honey Hole once again yielded its treasure. I rekon that after a big rain it would be the best. I also spent a bit of time with my nose against the face, looking for exposed teeth, but no cigar this time. (I'm doing a rain dance right now)

It wouldn't be a true Aussie fossil hunt without critters that can put you in the ER by just looking at you. :)

GW : Great white, But if this is a cretaceous tooth it is something else.

Yea, its from the Gingin Chalk, 83myo. Back when sharks were reptile bait. :)
