amon81
I bought my son a small tooth Mosasauro. Today my son has broken his tooth and was fake..Yes, I've paid very little but I did not imagine that it was so easy to make a credible fake. Morocco...all fake?? Troodon
I think it's real, why do you believe it's fake?
oilshale
Why do you think it is faked? The image is not really good, but I do not see anything wrong with it. LordTrilobite
Aside from the tip being broken off, the tooth looks fine. Mosasaur teeth themselves aren't worth faking generally. Since they are pretty common. Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite
amon81
I'll try to burn it with a pin. I'll let you know. To touch and to sight it seems good plastic.
oilshale
Plastic won't break like this - the fracture would look differently. This is a more brittle material (like dentin). The enamel layer (brown) and the dentin (light brown) have different colors and the right thickness - much too complicated to fake for such a common fossil. lolman1c
I buy these things in bulks to give out at parties as prizes... Their cheap and billions of them.... And the guests can't get enough of them... I always love how they think they are such a rare and expensive thing and I know the truth. Although they are really fascinating. Dino Deals UK
As a specialist in Marine Reptiles, you can rest assured along with everybody elses assessment that the tooth is REAL. I'm not sure why you think it's fake?
