Hey Mike, This was another whirlwind adventure of mine...Did see Jeff and Dr.Hulburt and met Jack finally and Aimee. Well, I'm sorry but as I took a ton of pictures last year and the material was very much the same I really didnt take many this time except for some inverts in the museum that I was hoping to create labels for in my collection. Here they are.

I did stumble on a shell pile on the way home while looking for a McDonalds. Was going to do some scouting up north but while there I noticed this big dirt pile and then shell pieces and then I ate quickly and then I was out exploring. In talking to Jeff it seems I maybe didnt stumble here and I may have actually been here before. Oh god its terrible to lose your mind and confuse stuff and then cant remember crud....So, here are some of those shots. I've got a number of others I'll add tomorrow...

I did find this drum tooth and this .5cm odd pitted black spherical object. Pearl ran across my mind as I picked it up and have since looked at it up close but I just dont know...

I was really pressed for time, since I was working the "Silent Auction" with Miatria and Jlar706.. for my fossil club. I did have a little time to break out discussion with Jeff and Chris -- Just great to talk fossils and opportunities with some kindred spirits when I just can not get out there to fossil due to rains and deep water !! You could tell that we all had some common views and shared withdrawal symptoms on not getting out. Also got to say hello to Jeff's better half and a couple of kids.. Great day not enough time. And then I took a bunch of fossils to Richard Hulbert and made some GREAT land finds..

Two more photos -- fossil is in great shape. Double click on the above photo to get a sense of the impressive details. We were finding a lot of excellent Mammoth-Mastodon materials at this location and to get a smallish tail vert from a huge mammal.post-2220-0-23608100-1455423872_thumb.jpg

Nice seeing you Jack and the others. Forgot to mention meeting Joe too. That vert is another sweet find--you guys are killing it! Thanks for adding some pics.....Hope you can get out soon.

I'm gonna hold off posting anymore pics from my Mcdonalds adventure...I got to get moving...maybe later in the week.

It was great getting to meet you Jack, Joe and Amiee: ) The show was a lot of fun, it's always nice to see what other hunters are turning up around here. I was also happy Dr Hulbert was there to ID a few things I brought, he's a walking encyclopedia of our local fauna
