Are they really as rare, as everbody tells on Fossil sites? I am an absolute beginner in fossils, and i think i had some luck to get these teeth for a good Price What are your opinions about them? If I recall correctly these teeth were generally available from multiple sources perhaps 15-20 years ago. Today the supply is more limited due the the export restrictions placed on such fossils by the Chilean government. Such restrictions may have always been in place but not enforced early on. However, there are likely sufficient numbers of Chilean megs circulating among collectors to ensure that these teeth will continue to be available at some price level. Prices on these localities have increased significantly since the countries have stopped the export of them.
