Foshunter
I would say that you had a pretty productive hunt, to bad one day that area will be a lake. Plesiosaur vert is a very uncommon find, great addition to your collection Tom Grow Old Kicking And Screaming !!"Don't Tread On Me"

David E.
Great finds Jarrod! What side of 2990 did you enter? I think that's the location I've wanted to hunt several times but if memory serves me correctly, that's the bridge that has the real steep drop off all around it. You will see the it. I think it's the only one. It's ok when it's dry but can be slick when it's wet.

digit
An old medicine bottle, a nice projectile point, and a Plesiosaur vert--great finds from a number of eras. One of these days I'll make it to Texas for some fossil (and artifact) hunting. Thanks for sharing the in situ photos--helps me dream about hunting the NSR till I get there myself. Cheers. -Ken

FossilDAWG
What is the time frame for damming and flooding the river? It's on my "bucket list", but I doubt it will be as productive by Scuba. Don
Twinlukers
I'll bring the snorkel gear for when they start flooding it. I think I'll have one good trip before They dam it up. Projected time frame is 2017 I heard but do not quote me on that.
JarrodB
They haven't even started on dam construction yet so it will be years. We should only lose 34, 2990 and 904. A lot to lose but still plenty of other good spots on the river.
