I want to show my last trip to the Senkenberg museum in Frankfurt a. M. I am sure that many of you know the museum, but i want give an insight into it for all the people who wasnt there (or to awake memories :) ).

The photos arent good (like always ;) ) , but i take them actually only for me so please excuse me

First (not in the museum): The "Bleistift" of Frankfurt:

The whale heart is about 1 meter or more high ....

Agree its a really nice museum with not only fossils, also with other interesting parts.

If any of you get to Frankfurt, the Senckenberg Museum is a must. Their display of Messel material is amazing... and they have a hadrosaur mummy from right here in Wyoming.

Thanks for the tour! I haven't managed to get up there yet, but since an aquaintance of mine who renovated the collection in Tuebingen has now moved on to work there, I now have more reason to make the trip.

I think the horseshoe is from Solnhofen ... was also one of my favourite piece there !
