RoadcutHannah
This was found in a nodule that fell out of a large piece of shale that had fossil ferns on it - I cracked the shale to see if there were more ferns inside, and this little concretion rolled out. Thank you! Rockwood
It would be nice to imagine that it could be a trigonotarbid. Don't take it as an expert opinion though.
Fossildude19
Not sure there is enough there to make a determination of what it could be. Could we see a picture of it from directly above, rather than at an oblique angle? Regards. Sorry about the angle - I kept getting my own shadow in the way, so I think I need a different lighting source. I'll have the pic posted up soon. I appreciate your help! fossilized6s
I can't make out any defining features. I think it's more of an in hand under scope kind of ID. ~Charlie~ "There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why.....i dream of things that never were, and ask why not?" ~RFK ->Get your Mosasaur print ->How to spot a fake Trilobite ->How to identify a CONCRETION from a DINOSAUR EGG
