keithmegalodon
Hello, I have been wanting to purchase this raptor claw. Would just like to ask if this is an authentic fossil. thanks!
Troodon
Hard to tell from just that image if it's real or what it is being so small. The shape is that of a theropod claw but without different angles may be reptlian? The bottom edge is a bit flat for dinosaurian. Do you have more photos? Is it from the Kem Kem deposits? keithmegalodon
It is actually from a supplier of a lot of museums here in Australia including Sydney and Adelaide. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Troodon
The C o A are worthless anyone can print one up and just because they ship items to museums or does not make them theropod claw experts. That area is the Kem Kem. Can you get additional photos that may help. If I have to go with what I can see I would be inclined to pass on the claw Edited April 11, 2016 by Troodon
