Not sure what this is in the center of the matrix lots of little shells around it. Appreciate any insight thanks.

Cool fossils! However, for us to give an accurate ID, you need to give us information ob where and how it is found. :)

I am quite sure the snails in the matrix are turritellis. I just am not sure about the long thin bony looking one in the middle

The two in the middle could be Caprinid rudists.

Many people overlook the tags, ( I know I do! :blush: ) ,... that is why it is always best to include the area found, and the age of area (if known) directly in the first post, along with the size of the item if there is nothing in the pictures for scale.

The more information we have, the more accurate we can be with our id attempts. :)

Yes sir I understand I don't know much about the turritellis in the photo... Perhaps they very greatly in size I'm sorry

The gastropods, as you said, are Turritellids. You can see a few of them in longitudinal section in the matrix. post-17588-0-82787900-1460735595_thumb.jpg

The two in the middle could be Caprinid rudists.

It looks similar, but I don't think they are found in this formation. ;)

I think these are infilled burrows that can be locally common in the Goodland formation. They get filled with many shell bits and other things that could account for the random structures inside.
