Ok this one I have a slight idea about, John (Sacha) said possibly a bear tooth, low crown, heavily worn surface.

I assume short faced bear since that is what seems most common there.

Any way to tell WHICH tooth? and an approximate age on this guy?

Certainly looks like a bear molar too me. I can't say which position it is as I am not that knowledgeable yet. But I'd guess black bear molar.

Certainly seems to match up with an m2 in shape and it has the same wrinkles around the base of the enamel as in the lower tooth your first photo. I'm sold--and envious. :wub:

Still on my bucket list. I'll have to go out with John so he can put me on a good location. :P

Fantastic news!!

I agree it lines up very nicely in size and shape with those m2 teeth!!

Maybe my best find of the trip!

WooHoo! I was wondering what you found. I've only scored a couple of Bear teeth in the Peace & you did it your first time out. Good for you !!!!
