MarkGelbart
Last November I made a trip to Statesboro, Georgia to visit the Georgia Southern Museum. I took a bunch of photos for my book, but the lighting was bad and I didn't think they would be very good. But this week I finally got around to transferring the images from my camera to my computer, and they turned out better than I expected. Here's one of a tylosaurus skeleton, a complete specimen from North Dakota. Scientists and fossil hunters find lots of disarticulated tylosaur specimens in Georgia's Cretaceous deposits, but none as complete as this.
