Ordovician Problematica

I found this (what I believe to be a fossil) while splitting limestone in Vermont. I've only found Triarthrus Becki, conularia, cephalopods and the occasional brachiopod at this location. Any ideas on what it could be? It is one inch long.

Doesn't ring any bells for me...

What's the scale? The rounded shape with a vesicular structure looks a little like a bryozoan or coral colony.

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

It is one inch long. It has me stumped. I just collected a very similar fossil 60 miles away. Now I've found four.
