Kudos, (i did'nt knew that word), i agree with what John says. In French we have a say for that : "Il n'est pas nécessaire d'espérer pour entreprendre ni de réussir pour persévérer" (It is not necessary to hope to undertake nor to be successful to persevere).

Quite right. My youngest son (he has an autistic syndrome) said something like this when we were at a Cecilia Bartoli Concerto :

- When will it be over Mum ?

- After Miss Bartoli stops singing.

- Who is she, the fat one ?

I do agree with you. But in that occasion, the problem was that we were in a little theatre and he said that quite loudly during a silence in the song. So i had to apologize to miss Bartoli.
