Kudos, (i did'nt knew that word), i agree with what John says. In French we have a say for that : "Il n'est pas nécessaire d'espérer pour entreprendre ni de réussir pour persévérer" (It is not necessary to hope to undertake nor to be successful to persevere). :)

Quite right. My youngest son (he has an autistic syndrome) said something like this when we were at a Cecilia Bartoli Concerto :

- When will it be over Mum ?

- After Miss Bartoli stops singing.

- Who is she, the fat one ?

I do agree with you. But in that occasion, the problem was that we were in a little theatre and he said that quite loudly during a silence in the song. So i had to apologize to miss Bartoli.
