I had a good day fossil hunting at the North Sulphur River Texas. I found a nice variety of Xiphactinus, Mosasaur, Plesiosaur, Shark, Mastodon, Rudists, Ammonite, and Coprolite full of bones.

Great finds, and I do not know HOW you found that much dry gravel bar ANYWHERE.

Just for the benefit of the other readers, this is what the NSR looked like at 7AM this morning at Ladonia. Jarrod, you're a fossil hunting madman! :D

Thanks everyone. The large bone has been identified as Mosasaur jaw section.

Dude! Cool getting around the water. Makes a big difference to LEAVE those footprints rather than seeing the footprints after a rain.

Great job.

I didn't hunt the river until it had dropped and gravel bars were showing. The creek I was in was only 3 ft and barely moving so it wasn't bad.

Thanks everyone. Time to head back to work for 3 weeks and give the river a break.

I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt
