caldigger
I was cruising through Craigslist and came across this. It is a fully lit display case used for bakery goods. Cabinet itself is 60" tall, 48" wide and 20" deep with 6" legs. I added an extra shelf for items as it was made for cakes and I didn't need so much space between shelves. The bakery was moving into another building and was getting rid of their old equipment. So I got it for really cheap...$40! If so a double whammy Regards Mike Frankly Mike, I think it has been a very long time since this was used to hold baked goods. It was very dusty and full of spider webs. At least I hope they didn't display cakes with it like that. But I would say it has been in storage for some time.

mrieder79
There are not words to express my jealousy! Congrats on a sweet find. I'm trying to find a new home for my growing collection and short of shelling out hundreds of dollars, I'm coming up empty handed. Luck is the most important skill of a fossil diver. caldigger
Funny you should ask. I was just thinking this week on how I need to organize and finally set up that cabinet. Between work and doing shows, I just haven't had much time to do much. This past weekend I got it together and completed the majority of it. I am going to leave the bottom portion empty for now until I can acquire some larger specimens. The other shorter cabinet will be primarily filled with items I have gotten in trade. I will post a pick later. Thank you for your consern. Doren PS. You will notice I have an entire shelf dedicated to Cephalopods. Thanks for your help on doing that.
