ericajoan
I found these in Colorado. Can anyone help me identify them? They are all from the same context. Edited June 11, 2016 by ericajoan
Fossildude19
Sometimes posting pictures can stymie those unfamiliar with the Forum. Try making sure they are below 2 MB each, in size. Sometimes e-mailing them to yourself allows you to resize them. ericajoan
Thanks for letting me know. I was able to resize one of them on my phone. I'll try uploading the rest later today!
Sharks of SC
Not knowing the age, I'd guess something similar to an oreodont. Interesting piece, nice find! Edited June 11, 2016 by Sharks of SC
JarrodB
The bottom row is oreodont jaw fragments. I'm not sure on the top row.
jpc
looks like White River stuff. Eocene or Oligocene. I see an oreodont jaw in the bottom row, middle specimen. The one to its right is also oreodont. To ID the others we may need to see the chwewing surface better.
Fruitbat
Agreed...they look to be mostly oreodont pieces. Colorado has numerous exposures of Eocene/Oligocene strata that contain typical 'White River' types of faunas. -Joe Illigitimati non carborundum Fruitbat's PDF Library
sixgill pete
Nice find. Thanks for sharing with us. Also to expand on what Tim stated, sometimes also taking individual pictures of each piece besides the group picture can be helpful. And the more views from different angles is good also.
