Hello,

Yesterday during a day trip to McKinney Falls State Park, I found what looks to be some kind of fossilized tooth next to the Lower Falls swimming area. Would love to get an idea of what kind of fossil this could be!

I think that it is actually a Scapanorhynchus texanus goblin shark tooth.

Neat find.

Thank you so much for your help!

My son is so excited - his first guess was actually a shark.
