I need to buy some dissecting scopes

I need to buy a few new, simple rugged dissecting scopes for a biology lab. LED light preferred.

10x and 30x magnifications preferred, with upper and lower lights.

I plan to spend $250 or less for each. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

It's not the best scope out there, but the price is right. The light is mediocre. I added a 120v LED strip to mine to boost it. It has a very long focal length, allowing for plenty of working room.

Thanks- I did forget to say I want a model with a lower light as well- I have changed the post to reflect this. This is for general zoology lab use...

If you can't find a variable light source or fit a dimmer yourself you could buy some 'neutral density' filters from a photographic supplier or an auction site. They can come a sheets of acetate which you can cut down to your needs. They come in various densities or you can get say a ND1 and double, treble &c up to your needs.
