Trevor's Growing Collection

Trevor

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, this is Trevor. I wanted to document my collection as of July 23, 2016. There are some pieces of my collection that are not displayed here, however, the overwhelming majority is here. I began fossiling around 5.5 years ago when my mother took me to Big Brook (an NJ Cretaceous stream). I kind of cooled off for two years and then attacked the hobby and became a serious fossil hunter. Here is my collection through all of it.

Starting:

post-9084-0-31567300-1469282877_thumb.jpg

Various Shark Teeth and Finds: Left (2) Top: Big Brook Belemites, Bottom: Ramanessin Brook Shark Teeth prior to 2014.

Next bags: Top: The results of three Green Mill Run hunts in NC, Bottom: The results of two Aurora Museum spoil pile hunts

Next bags~A variety of smaller hunts. Additionally, on far right, family finds. They mixed everything (not between sites but between people's finds).

Fossils and other natural objects that have been given to me, bought by me, or in the case of the ferns under shark mouth, hives in upper left, or pieces of petrified wood on the bottom, found by me.

Really nice collection, Trevor, but shouldn't you have been sitting on a couch playing games instead of hiking through outdoor streams? :D

Start the day with a smile and get it over with.

Ha that's what all of my friends have been doing this entire summer. I am slowly starting to integrate them into the passion. Bring them for a modest outing and see whether or not they enjoy it. It gets really lonely sometimes. Ha kidding I have the fossils with me.

Nice collection Trevor. I am pretty sure you have gone over the maximum number of fossils for the Brooks on each trip. Lol just joking. Thank you for sharing.

Congratulations. That's one truly amazing collection. And you've only been doing this five and a half years?!!! I'm sure there's lots more to come. Happy hunting.
