Lori LuvsFossils
(approx 1/2") While flaking split layer material, this appeared. I set it aside with a couple of other fish scales. Upon closer inspection, it seemed to have roots so I changed my thinking to "floating plant". This morning, I looked up plants in my new book "Lost World of Fossil Lake". The roots in the book just dangle down into the water. Makes sense. Mine has a connected pattern. What say you, Wyoming hunters? Lori LuvsFossils
Yep, great link...which by the way, lead right back to TFF ID section! I kinda like the way it preserved. It's easier to see the detail than the other 2 I have. ;-)
