caldigger
I think your "sponges" in post #17 are actually orthocones and the ones in #18 are corals.

Guguita2104
Amazing collection ! 2-Love that trilos: the first two are probably Flexicalymene sp., maybe ouzregui (wich are pretty common in Morocco). The chinese one is an Elrathia kingii,IMO. 4-I think they're Paleozoic, but this is just a "wild guess". 7-You don't have only ammonites (Order Ammonitida_flower-shaped suture lines_Mesozoic).I also see a specimen that resembles a nautiloid and a goniatite (order Goniatitida_simple suture lines_Paelozoic). 9-An orthoconic nautiloid. If this one came from a geological formation that is not located in the Middle Ordovician of Estonia,Sweden,Lithuania,Belarus and Ukraine (please feel free to correct or add any info ) it's not an Orthoceras (this designation is not anymore used for all the orthoconic nautiloids:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orthoceras_History of the name. I would identify that as Geisenoceras (generalized sense). 11-The French ammo is a Perisphinctes sp ,IMO(however, I'm not an expert). 13-The white specimens are gastropods.About the black ones, try to compare them with Goniatite sp. 15-Shells??? 16-Orthoconic nautiloids. 17-I see scleractinian colonial corals and clionaid sponge borings (Entobia???). Beautiful gift !Although, I think the specimen could be modern, because Mexico waters are very rich in reefal fauna. 18-Amazing ! Regards,
