Tex
I went back to the little creek I found last week and spent some more time looking around. It's a small creek with a road bridge that crosses it and a fence on each side, but on 1 side the fence sets back a ways from the bridge, giving me a little more room to hunt. I couldn't find a name for the creek on the map, so I just decided to nickname it Chapel Creek. So, here's what I found: No complete ammonites, just fragments. I only picked up A few, because I don't really want a bunch of pieces of them. So it's not a good place for ammonites. But, it's not bad for Gastropods. And great for small urchins. And muscles too. And another type of Gastropod.

Best regards, Paul Well, I called it "Chapel Creek", because it's a creek that goes under Chapel Road. I think I've gotten enough from this little site, so I'll share it's location with everyone else. Feel free to check it out. West side of Fort Worth at Loop 820 and Chapel Road. West side of 820, just south of the car dealer ships. Turn west on Chapel road, and right there is the bridge. It has a couple parking spots on the south west part of the bridge. Hunt from under the bridge north to the fence. Watch for the wasp under the bridge. Hope y'all enjoy.
Tex
HAHAHAHA!!!!!! Ok. Sorry folks. All this time I've been saying "Chapel ", but I just looked at the map and saw it's "Chapin" Road. Sorry about that. Chapin and 820.
