Brett Breakin' Rocks
I picked these up today from the Savannah River, the location has a good bit of fish material, larger bones, small fish verts and a smattering of shark teeth. I'm always running into interesting things like this Drum Grinding Mill (almost complete darnit !). And what I can gather from photos, and what someone told me might be horse teeth ? They were found submerged about 3 feet away from each other..... I wonder if the whole horse is down there somewhere ? haha .. poor buddy. These fossils I'm assuming are a mix, but I understood most fossils like this were from the Miocene to Pliocene.
Brett Breakin' Rocks
Here are a few more finds from the same location ... the weather was thankfully rainy in the morning so it was a nice break from the heat. There were drum teeth. Possibly a small snake vert. Some fish verts and a mouth plate. What I think is my first 'partial' Megalodon tooth and a battered Great White. The tooth at the top of the penny that looks like a split coffee bean with the root missing. Does anyone know if that might have been a mammal tooth ? Some sort of pre-molar ? The horse teeth were found in the same general area. Thanks
caldigger
Why can't it be a horse riding a fish? Yeeehaaa!

Tony Thanks, I know right, I'm just assuming that there was some dredging upstream or I'm walking on old dredge spoils that are slowly washing out. I don't see anything like this on the beaches, nothing above a quarter size. Cheers, Brett
