My wife and I kicked off the holiday weekend by heading over to Purse state Park by ourselves. We got there later than I wanted but we still had about 90 minutes before low tide. As usual, my wife found a nice gravel line and staked out an area to start combing through for teeth...I  decided to go on another long walk. As you can see from the pictures below, both of us were successful with my highlight being another big Otodus and she found her first crocodile tooth. Just a note for anyone going to Purse, the biting flies are awful right now...either bug spray or long pants/sleeves is required.

Biting flies are terrible here in Minnesota too. Skin So Soft from Avon works wonderfully to repel our flies. Hope this prevents bites on anyone trying to outdo your great finds!

Nice. Wish I could have hunted yesterday, but it was raining cats and dogs due to Hermine. Probably wont be able to hit a spot for at least a few weeks, the river by my house was at 1 foot at the gauge yesterday morning. This morning it is over 12 feet.

Great you found another big Otodus, that one is still on my personal find bucket list. The little croc tooth your wife found is nice too.

Teeth!!!!! Wow!!! Impressive.

I find about 20-30 in about 3-4 hours on the Gulf. But like you said you have to hit the tides just right.

nice finds
