I was going through one of my matrix buckets from my just completed trip and came across this vertebra.   None of my other items have been prepped so I decided to throw this specimen in since its rare to find them in such good shape being so small.   I hesitate to clean the centrum any more in fear of destroying it.

Lower Hell Creek Formation

Powder River County, Montana

Cretaceous: Maastrichtian Age

Scapherpeton tectum (Cope 1876)

Vertebra from a Cretaceous Salamander

Height : 10 mm

Length: 8 mm

Width of Centrum: 4 mm

Voting time!!! :D

Every single fossil you see is a miracle set in stone, and should be treated as such.
