Moroccan Tooth

I found this tooth in a box full of Spinosaurus teeth for sale at the Denver Gem and Mineral Show.  Noticed it was curved and has small serrations under a loop so doubted that it was Spinosaurus so I bought it.  It comes from a dealer/digger well known to me from Morocco.  When I pointed this one out to him he agreed it wasn't from a spino, thought maybe crocodile.  What do you guys think?

Looks like it could be croc yea.

I'm digging in Montana and South Dakota   Not dinosaurian for the reasons you mentioned.   I would also lean towards Croc.
