Help me identify this bone. I found it at my ranch in Lagrange Texas .

Hi Kellie, what you've found is not a bone; it is a chert nodule that is suggestively shaped.  The voids, divots, and small crescent shaped cracks are very typical of these nodules in your area.  I have found many in all kinds of weird shapes.  The limestone where they were formed and their ancient deposition in the gravels near you all play a role in the shape they are today.
