Tick Tock, It's a fossil clock!

I didn't know what section to post this in this looks as good as any!

This clock is 100% natural!

No inlaid fish here!

And the numbers were a very unique find...clear evidence of alien visitations 52mya in modern day Wyoming.

Now if I can just find the ship....

All jokes aside, let me know what you guys think!

I love it... Something about it makes you stop and think about the constant passage of time and just how old ago it was that those fish were swimming around.

Did you make it or are you trying to sell it?  Now all it needs is some fossils for hands: shark teeth, urchin spines or belemnites.

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

I prepped these fish and my friend that owns the quarry up in Kemmerer helped me make the clock.

He makes these and sells them, they debuted at the Denver show this year and sold like 8 or 9!

If anyone is interested in one shoot me a PM.

The one shown here is mine though ;)

Let me snap a couple photos of the backing.

"Let me snap a couple photos of the backing."

Nobody wants to hear the word "snap" when talking about fossils.

Ive seen fossil clocks before but never out of fish rock.  Really cool.   Looking at the sizes of those fish, that's either a very large knightia or a very small prisci?
