Unknown Femur

Hi, This is another North Port FL creek find. I'd say definatly a femur, But cant find any pics on the web that are close. It seems mostly fossilized, but a match test gave a slight hint of burning hair(could have been from my finger though :P )

This is one of those IDs that is hard to be confident of using only images. After looking at the conformation, I think this is a raccoon femur. Could it be a cat, yes. It more resembles a raccoon than a cat to my eye using your images.

Thanks guys, I'll go with Racoon, seems about right from what I can find online. I call these kind of finds"brown bones". It still gives that feeling of finding something different even if it isn't totaly fossilized. :)
