Jeffrey P
Hi, Welcome to the Forum from just down the road. I've collected from that site many times and concur with Stingray's opinion about the finds and the site. That deep water site also produces goniatites, eumetabolotoechia (brachiopods) and rare conularids and phyllocarids, a very interesting fauna. Good luck and keep digging. pops
Jeffrey, thank you for the welcome and the info. I'm very excited to go back now and look for the species you mentioned! This site looks very different from other areas in NY that I have been to. Chief, how nice of you to comment on my photos. I believe it is the first compliment I have every received on my pix! They were taken with a basic point and shoot Lumix. Thx again- Dave
