jcbshark
Chris and I went out today to scout two new areas but neither produced so we went to another spot where we have had some good luck with small Megs. Most tend to be beach worn and are generally black in color but we find quite a few and we have both found some really nice ones it there occasionally in our hunts. These are all the whole ones I found today, the one in the lower left has evidence of cusps which is a first for me: ) Would've been nice if it was in a little better shape but I'll take with I can get : ) 1 Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there! Search4
While not one of my best days hunting, it was still nice to finally get out and do some scouting. It's only a matter of time before it pays off with some nicer treasures. My finds today aren't worth putting up. But here's a nice bone I found there last season with a gator bite. Congrats on a megalicious day Jeff! Lol.

Shamalama
I've never found a Megalodon tooth and I'm a little jealous that you found as many as you did. Plantguy
Hey Jeff, good to see you and Chris got out and had some keepers. Keep hunting for the monsters! I did get up north but nothing to scream about but I did enjoy the visits and to dig with the pros was a treat...Did see some Gomph material coming out of the ground which was very cool too. My phone continues to take photos when its plugged into a wall outlet or in the car..but not so much when trying to take pictures in the field....LOL. Continued hunting success....Regards, Chris

I found my 1st 2 chunks of gomph just this year and more would certainly be welcome... Did find a chunk of hosenose skull on Sunday... That many Megs are always exciting to find.
