jedijackie
I think I discovered what looks like a fossilized egg. I have included a few pics, hope they help with an ID! Thanks in advance
Wendell Ricketts
I would say almost certainly not. In any case, collecting information would be helpful: Where is it from (even roughly), age, formation, horizon, etc. What else was there? In what position/what strata was the specimen found, and so on. _________________________________ Wendell Ricketts Fossil News: The Journal of Avocational Paleontology http://fossilnews.org https://twitter.com/Fossil_News The "InvertebrateMe" blog http://invertebrateme.wordpress.com
Troodon
Welcome to the forum I agree, looks more like a concretion in an egg shape. Not seeing any eggshell covering or other characteristics that would say egg.
Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum. Unfortunately, these gentlemen have the right of it. No eggshell texture, and the "rind" is much to thick for eggshell. Yours looks like it may be a limestone or sandstone Concretion. It's a cool looking rock. Many people are fooled by concretions, so don't be dismayed. Keep looking, though.
