Possible coelacanth scales

Dear Guys,

I have found many strange scales with radial incisions but I do not know which kind of fish they belong to.

The age of the continental limestone boulders with these scales should be Triassic.

Might they belong to coelacanths?

Any idea what is this?

Kind regards

Domas

None of these really look like coelacanth scales,... to me.

Here are some images of scales from coelacanths.

And some actual fossil scales from fossils I collected:

The best way to ID the scales you have, I think, would be to either contact a University or College or Museum with an IchthyoPaleontologist  who might have some idea of the fauna of the area you found these.

Or you could try to research the local formations and find a faunal list on your own.

Neat fossils, though. :)
