The Winner of the October 2016 Vertebrate Find Of The Month is the associated shark vertebrae from the Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Formation of Texas, USA!  Congratulations to John S. on his first win in the contest and an incredibly rare find!

Thank you everyone. I am very humbled to win this award. Every month it is incredibly competitive. This will motivate me to try and find more of the shark. We are getting lots of rain this week so I'll be returning to the site soon after. :dinothumb::fistbump:

To find some vertebras of shark isn't so easy, then to find it more than about an hundred and doubtless belonging to the same animal, it is exeptionnal ! Bravo to you and continue to look for them !
