Help with fossil ID

I doubt these two fossils are from the animal. I'm not sure that they can be identified as to what animal they may have come from. They came from the same site as previous pieces near Houston Texas in a dredging operation.

If anyone can identify them it would be greatly appreciated/

From the ball and socket configuration, gator or croc?

what I was thinking. These look like the extant croc verts I ate in the soup.

P.S. really, the Chinese put weird things in their soup.
