Small fossil, what is it?

My 4yr old son and I were on a walk near Greers Ferry Lake on north central Arkansas and came across this beauty. Any thoughts on what it is?

I don't know what you have, but you might find informations from here : http://paleoportal.org

I'm sorry, but it will not let me upload the back of the rock. It keeps telling me that the file is too big, no matter how small I edit it down to

It kind of looks like a cross section through a bivalve to me. I can't explain all the parts of it, though.

I agree with this, my first impression was it could be an insect. But i hesitated because of the plan-like thing you can see on its left.

Pretty cool! I can see how some of the other ID ideas have been proposed but I think its a feeding/burrow trace. Arkansas appears to have lots of crazy traces. The geological survey there actually having a blog where some of the latest entries have been covering some of the various traces....scroll thru it and youll see a fair number of shapes/types..

This trace example from that blog has some similarity but not sure its the exact critter/type.
