A cylindrical core with crystals growing on the outside. Calcite crystals? Something grown in a cave? The core might be limestone.

I don't think it is a fossil. I can't see any diagnostic features that could be assigned to being from any life form.

I too see no fossil here, but it's a nice piece.:)

Calcite crystals.  The cylindrical form is interesting. There are faults that cut across the creek at various spots with associated calcite slickensides. But this looks different.  BUT calcite is common all through out our Cretaceous carbonate strata.
