fossilnut
I found these pieces a number of years ago. All from the same limited area. Never have found any since. No one that has seen them can offer an ID. Interested in member thoughts. Thanks
Fossildude19
My first impression was that these are infilled burrows, or farming/feeding traces. Second thought was geologic sedimentary structures. Let's see what others have to say. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." abyssunder
I'm going with geological structures. Looks similar to these : 1 " We are not separate and independent entities, but like links in a chain, and we could not by any means be what we are without those who went before us and showed us the way. ynot
I agree with geologic. Tony 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." FossilGuy1024
I've seen similar "nodules" weathering out of organic clays before. I'm going with the herd on this one: geologic.
