abyssunder
That is an interesting piece. I'm no fish expert, nor turtle specialist, so I could be very wrong, but, in my search came to me the below picture, from here . I'm wondering if couldn't be something similar from a turtle. 4 " We are not separate and independent entities, but like links in a chain, and we could not by any means be what we are without those who went before us and showed us the way. caldigger
That's pretty good abyssunder. When hypural bone was mentioned I was thinking, I had never seen one that flared out on both ends and the ones I am familiar with end with a vertecal socket on the none flared end. You might be on to something with the turtle.
JohnJ
When I first saw the photo, I thought of a hypoplastron. 3 The human mind has the ability to believe anything is true. - JJ
abyssunder
I'm sure that Tim knows that is not a hypural bone... see the drum...
