Welsh Wizard
I decided to make a Christmas Eve visit to Penarth, South Wales. I only found the one piece but it makes for a good early Christmas present. It's what's left of an early Jurassic ichthyosaur jaw. You can see a really good outline of where the jaw was, along with chunks of jaw bone that are still attached to the rock. The surface of the rock has a number of teeth showing which I'll look to prep out next year. Happy Christmas. Nick
RandyB
Congrats, looking forward to the prep. One of the first books I ever read about "dinosaurs" had a drawing of an ichthyosaur that has stuck in my head for 40 yrs. Always found them fascinating. very nice Christmas present indeed

Plantguy
Thats interesting. Is that small light colored horizontal tear drop shaped item above the jaw in the right of the photo a tooth? Regards, Chris
