Hi @Kane it's interesting to read that bryozoans had a commensal relationship with their host. I wonder if that was always the case.!

Here is an interesting specimen- two small inarticulate brachiopods lying side by side on the shell of a Rhipidomella brachiopod. The inarticulate brachiopods appear to be coated with what I think are bryozoans though I'm open to suggestions. This piece is from Deep Springs Road Quarry- Middle Devonian Windom Shale, Moscow Formation, near Lebanon, NY.
